LIBRARY
Our library consists of a collection of approximately 550 books, DVD's, and magazines recommended by our members.
Members may borrow 5 books per month, to be returned at the next meeting. Members are encouraged to return these promptly so everyone has access to the collection. The fine for late returns in 50 cents per item, per month.
Reviews of books, etc. by members are currently published in our newsletter.
Suggestions for new titles and topics are always welcome.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Thanks to all those who brought books back in September. Much as we like to collect the late dues ($0.50 per book per month) to enrich our library budget, we would rather have all the books available for Mississauga Quilters to enjoy.

Once you are into the "LibraryThing" website, you can begin to scroll through the book titles. Our books are listed in alphabetical order by author.

At first glance browsing the magazines I couldn’t find “pull out” pattern sheets. Tthe pattern templates are available. Under the cutting instructions for the pattern, when it says the template is on Pattern Sheet x just click on this underlined phrase and link will go to the templates.
So far I have found one quilt book amongst the downloadable eBooks. Quilts with a Modern Slant. A search on the term “quilting” found a nice selection of quilt related novels.
Freegal supplies music as a background to your quilting. You can download 5 songs a week and stream 5 hours of music a day.
Coming in May will be downloadable Comics of all types and Indie films and documentaries.
Lynda.com from the Library eResources page has tutorials to help with your computer skills and business management.
It’s Spring and Port Credit branch has a Heritage Seed Library.
There are now 3D printers available.
