Suzanne Neilson - For the Love of Textiles
This presentation traces Suzanne’s journey in quilting from early inspirations. The symbols and images of Japan are a recurring theme in many of her quilted pieces.

From Traditional to Modern
What is modern quilting? Who are modern quilters? why is this new trend taking the quilt world by storm? And how can you be a modern quilter? Through my trunk show of traditional and modern quilts, I'll try to explain this new phenomenon ans its links to traditional quilt making. I'm a member of Niagara Heritage Quilter's Guild and a founding member of the Niagara Modern Quilt Guild, and have been quilting for 34 years.
